Come down to Charleston City Marina during the week and check out the Class40 boats up close while they’re docked and getting ready for the race!

Atlantic Cup Kids Day

Where & When: Charleston City Marina, Thurs May 24

Atlantic Cup will host kids from all over Charleston for an up close look at the boats and a special meet and greet with the sailors. Our Kids Education Program gives students and teachers the opportunity to visit the boats, and hear the sailors stories from their time on the ocean. The Kids Program also helps children learn about the environmental challenges facing the ocean and how reducing, reusing, and recycling can make a huge difference.

Skipper Party

Where & When: TBonz, Thurs May 26, 7-9pm

Join us at the Skipper Party to celebrate the kick off of the 2018 Atlantic Cup! Mingle with the sailors before they begin the race up the east coast. This event is free and open to the public, so bring your friends and come on down to TBonz Charleston Thursday 5/24 from 7-9pm!

Leg 1 Charleston-New York City Race Start

Where & When: Charleston Maritime Center, Sat May 26, 12pm

The race starts at 12pm on Saturday, May 26^th just off the Charleston Maritime Center. The best vantage point from land is the park next to the Maritime Center at the corner of Inspection and Wharfside Streets. Come down to the Maritime Center and bid farewell to the teams as they head north for the 642-nautical mile run to New York!
