Centerboard Yacht Club (CYC) is a non-profit organization located in South Portland, Maine, with shore frontage and a mooring field in Portland Harbor. Founded in 1937 as a sailboat racing club, CYC has evolved into an organization that promotes all aspects of yachting, both sail and power.
The Warrior Sailing Program is focused on introducing active military and veterans with disabilities to sailing, learning to sail and basic sailboat racing. Organizing partners are providing participants with 3-day intense Basic Training Camps designed to highlight not just skills to manage a boat on the water but also societal skills.

Formed in 2004 as as a way for designers, sailors & builders to have a dedicated offshore race boat somewhere between a Mini and an open 60 that could sail safely across the Atlantic, the Class has experienced tremendous growth. The Atlantic Cup is officially sanctioned by the Class 40.
Sailors for the Sea educates and engages the boating community in the worldwide protection of the oceans. Since the Atlantic Cup’s inception, it has achieved the highest Clean Regatta certification possible from Sailors for the Sea.
