We Are Neutral

Founded in 2008, We Are Neutral created the first carbon neutral sports program at the University of Florida. We Are Neutral’s carbon offsets are created by planting indigenous trees on local conservation land, partnering with local landfills to capture methane emissions and by performing free of charge energy retrofits for low income families.

One of the most iconic sailing photographers in the United States, Billy Black will again be the Atlantic Cup’s Official photographer. Throughout the Atlantic Cup website you can see some of the stunning images Billy and his team captured from previous races.

Charleston Yacht Club

Supporting the Atlantic Cup’s operations while in Charleston and serving the community since 1934, Charleston Yacht Club maintains its purpose with programs and events to promote interest in water sports.

Class 40

Formed in 2004 as as a way for designers, sailors & builders to have a dedicated offshore race boat somewhere between a Mini and an open 60 that could sail safely across the Atlantic, the Class has experienced tremendous growth. The Atlantic Cup is officially sanctioned by the Class 40.

Centerboard Yacht Club

Centerboard Yacht Club (CYC) is a non-profit organization located in South Portland, Maine, with shore frontage and a mooring field in Portland Harbor. Founded in 1937 as a sailboat racing club, CYC has evolved into an organization that promotes all aspects of yachting, both sail and power.

Friends of the Eastern Promenade

In Portland, Maine, atop Munjoy Hill, the Eastern Promenade and Fort Allen Park comprise a 68-acre grassy reserve sloping down to the peaceful waters of Casco Bay and it is the home for the Atlantic Cup Portland Race Village. The picturesque New England views here are some of the most beautiful in the world.

Sailors for the Sea

Sailors for the Sea educates and engages the boating community in the worldwide protection of the oceans. Since the Atlantic Cup’s inception, it has achieved the highest Clean Regatta certification possible from Sailors for the Sea. In 2013 Sailors for the Sea announced a new Platinum Level Certification, the Atlantic Cup was the first event to meet all of its requirements.

Tall Ships® Portland

Tall Ships® Portland’s mission is to provide sailing and maritime related opportunities, education, events and access for sailing activities that promote physical and mental wellness for children and adults.

Warrior Sailing

The Warrior Sailing Program is focused on introducing active military and veterans with disabilities to sailing, learning to sail and basic sailboat racing. Organizing partners are providing participants with 3-day intense Basic Training Camps designed to highlight not just skills to manage a boat on the water but also societal skills.
